Terms and Conditions

BOOKING: Bookings will be confirmed by email on receipt of your booking form and a deposit of £100.  The booking deposit is non-refundable and we recommend you obtain holiday insurance, with a cancellation clause, at the time of making your booking.

BALANCE: The balance of the accommodation price, plus a damages deposit of £100 and a cleaning fee of £30/£40 is payable 8 weeks before the start of your holiday.  If the booking is made less than 8 weeks before your holiday, full payment is due at the time of booking.  If you cancel your booking at any time we will attempt to re-let the property. If we are successful we will return your money, less any costs incurred.

DAMAGES DEPOSIT: The damages deposit (see above) is required in case of damage to the property or its contents.  We also reserve the right to deduct charges from this deposit for excess cleaning.  We will account for any charges made.  The balance of your damages deposit will be returned within two weeks of the end of the rental period.  The deposit does not limit your liability in the event of damage exceeding your damages deposit.

CLEANING: We charge an additional fee of £30 for cleaning La Noix and La Noisette, and £40 for cleaning La Chataigne, payable when you pay the balance of your holiday. We also reserve the right to charge an additional fee for excess cleaning. You will find cleaning materials in your gite - please ask if anything is missing.

ARRIVAL AND DEPARTURE TIMES: One week's accommodation is from 5.00 p.m. on Saturday to 10.00 a.m. the following Saturday.  If you expect to arrive after 8.00 p.m. please let us know.

EXTRAS: The accommodation price includes all bedding, bath and hand towels, kitchen towels, pool towels and electricity.  Logs for heating are charged extra, payable locally. You may wish to buy charcoal and firelighters for your BBQ.

POOL: The swimming pool is provided for the convenience of all our guests. Please respect other guests, do not take any glassware into the pool area, keep the pool area tidy and ensure that gates are fully closed. Parents should note that whilst the pool is appropriately fenced, it is not supervised, and they are responsible for the safety of children at all times. Please ensure that you and your children respect the safety equipment, including the fence and gates.

ACCESS: We reserve the right to enter the property at any time to inspect or make repairs, and will give you appropriate notice in advance.
